I’m NOT Freshly Pressed… again!

There’s a bit of a trend going now with bloggers becoming a little outspoken about the WordPress ‘Freshly Pressed’ feed on the Reader Channel. How does it work? The subjects today [ie. the day I wrote this post] included Rwanda, tattoos, fictional heroines, diversity, poetry, war and Mozilla Firefox. I want to be there too! doncharisma-org-not-on-freshly-pressed-award-2-300x300My nomination for this award comes from Karen Oberlaender at My Train of Thoughts. Karen is the top commentator on my writing blog, so thanks Karen for reading and getting involved in dialogue, not just clicking the ‘like’ button!

Directions for you to accept the “I’m NOT Featured On Freshly Pressed Award”:-

  1. Select the blog(s) you think deserve the “The I’m NOT Featured on Freshly Pressed Award”.

  5. Come over and say hello to Don Charisma, the originator of the “The I’m NOT Featured On Freshly Pressed Award”
  6. And as a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with this award, and then PROUDLY display the award on your blog.
  7. If you ever do get officially “Freshly Pressed” then take down this award badge and display the official “Freshly Pressed” badge instead.

I would like to give this award to Dale at EllaDeeWords who, after Karen, has written the most comments on my writing blog since it started in February 2013. Thanks Dale!

  2. Aww, Sandra, don’t feel bad. I have no idea how the Freshly Pressed award is given, but you totally deserve it. Enjoy your I’m Not Featured on Freshly Pressed award. I love your blogs.

  3. Your nomination is well deserved, Sandra. 🙂
Given your topics it is very easy and pleasont for me to comment and discuss with you.

  4. Freshly pressed. Haha. How many times has it inspired me to write the odd post?

Here are two, but not the only two …

    and following that:

Following that first post though, I did notice a little later that a couple of blogs I read were displaying the accolade, not once but twice.

Anyway, my first post also says whether I would display the badge or not 😀

Someone pointed out the not freshly pressed blog to me some time ago thinking I may be amused by it.

So, I send you my heartfelt congratulations :0

  5. And here I am again 🙂 Congratulations on the award, again. I’m still after 2 years not sure how FP works, although I know a few bloggers who have been – the attention has come and gone, and other successful bloggers regardless. Recognition and feedback in any setting is a great thing though.
Thank you for the award, I appreciate it but as I ticked over 2 years blogging I decided to manage my time differently, revamped my blog(s) and decided my time for awards has passed. Best wishes, EllaDee
