Was there ever a better Dracula than Bella Lugosi? Those eyes, those eyebrows. It is many many years since I read Bram Stoker’s novel, but I admit that finding this photograph made me want to read it again. And I am not one for horror stories. First published on May 26, 1897, below is the front cover of the first edition, alongside the poster for the 1931 film starring Bella Lugosi.
